Bad SA on the carrier's part,JMHO That's why I have a thumb break holster, no way is it coming out without me knowing it, and being able to react. She is either very brave or very stupid, I'll defer to the latter since she left her purse on the counter. Glad no one was hurt, it sure could have gone the other way.

“She picked up the wallet, stepped back and turned and ran,” Unerfusser said. “… How the gun didn’t go off in all of this — I’m not sure.”

Im starting to really believe that there actually has to be human input to pull the trigger and fire a gun.

No mention of what the lady was on? I can't imagine she was sober.

I really love the guy's response though, “Hey lady, it’s loaded — there’s one in the chamber; you need to give it back,”

That's far more polite than my reaction would have been. She's lucky she's alive to face charges.
I prefer dangerous freedom to safety in chains.

Let's go Brandon.

This story is an LTCers worst nightmare...

I'm curious as to what kind of holster this guy had. I guess it could be easier for someone to move up behind you if you were OC. I highly doubt someone could walk up behind you and draw your firearm from a CC position with little to no reaction from the LTCer.

This lady is extremely bold and as someone stated she is lucky to be there to face charges.

A 36-year-old woman came up behind him and saw the outline of a handgun tucked beneath his shirt. Denison Police Det. Tom Unerfusser said she lifted his shirt, unholstered the weapon and pointed it at the man.
Based on what I read, his weapon was concealed, but he was printing. She removed the cover garment and then removed the weapon from him. I do agree that it is a worst nightmare situation.

Who knows what you or I would do in a similar situation? I do believe that I'm a little more aware of who and what is happening around me; however, I hasten to add that I can't remember the last time I was out anywhere at 10:30 P.M.
