Other than the issue of sitting that's where a crossdraw would be nice.

Maybe she couldn't flip the safety, or figure it out.

Maybe it was a P7M8, one amusing virtue of which was that if you didn't know how to work it, you probably weren't going to figure it out quickly under pressure. It also required a reasonable degree of hand strength to cock, not a problem if you knew it but something else to delay and befuddle the novice.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

I'm curious as to what kind of holster this guy had. I guess it could be easier for someone to move up behind you if you were OC. I highly doubt someone could walk up behind you and draw your firearm from a CC position with little to no reaction from the LTCer.

This lady is extremely bold and as someone stated she is lucky to be there to face charges.
A 36-year-old woman came up behind him and saw the outline of a handgun tucked beneath his shirt. Denison Police Det. Tom Unerfusser said she lifted his shirt, unholstered the weapon and pointed it at the man.
Based on what I read, his weapon was concealed, but he was printing. She removed the cover garment and then removed the weapon from him. I do agree that it is a worst nightmare situation.
I read that as well. By my first statement I could understand how this could happen easier from an OC position. By the second, I can't see how the LTC didn't react quicker to stop her before she got his shirt up. I can't say that I could've, bc I've never been in that situation, but I would hope I'd have more situational awareness and not allow that kind of thing to happen. I don't let people get that close to me except my family.

I have contact my state rep., Jonathan Stickland, about supporting HB 560. Fine out who represents you, here.

I wish there were video of this somewhere that we could see and MMQB it.
