TABC Blue Sign At Walk-In Clinic

I was feeling under the weather yesterday, so I decided to go to a walk-in clinic here in Plano. As I walked up to the door, I noticed that they had a valid 30.07 sign in the window and also the blue TABC sign ("The unlicensed possession of a weapon...").

Obviously, the clinic does not serve alcohol, so there's no reason for them to post a TABC sign. Any thoughts on what I should do about this? Can I file a complaint with TABC against the clinic?

If they haven't posted a 30.06 sign, there's no problem.

If you make an issue about the blue sign, they might just get a properly worded 30.06 sign once they learn more about signage.

Interesting point, took my wife to the Chipolte restaurant in Weatherford, I did expect to see an 06 sign or at least a 07, saw neither even though it's there corporate policy to be against guns in their stores, I did see a Blue TABC sign to the side of the front door. Wonder if they just bought the wrong sign?

They don't serve alcohol, but it is present. Not that I would drink it!

Actually, it is in the TABC code that they must post the 51% sign minus the red 51 in the middle

Sec. 411.204. NOTICE REQUIRED ON CERTAIN PREMISES. (a) A business that has a
permit or license issued under Chapter 25, 28, 32, 69, or 74, Alcoholic Beverage Code, and that derives
51 percent or more of its income from the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption as
determined by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission under Section 104.06, Alcoholic Beverage
Code, shall prominently display at each entrance to the business premises a sign that complies with the
requirements of Subsection (c).
(b) A hospital licensed under Chapter 241, Health and Safety Code, or a nursing home
licensed under Chapter 242, Health and Safety Code, shall prominently display at each entrance to the
hospital or nursing home, as appropriate, a sign that complies with the requirements of Subsection (c)
other than the requirement that the sign include on its face the number "51".
(c) The sign required under Subsections (a) and (b) must give notice in both English and
Spanish that it is unlawful for a person licensed under this subchapter to carry a handgun on the premises.
The sign must appear in contrasting colors with block letters at least one inch in height and must include
on its face the number "51" printed in solid red at least five inches in height. The sign shall be displayed
in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public.

TABC regulates more than just the sale of alcohol, including use for medical treatment and research. Here's an example from the code

Sec. 5.41. ALCOHOL USED FOR SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES, ETC. The commission shall
license and regulate the use of alcohol and liquor for scientific, pharmaceutical, and industrial purposes.
The commission shall provide by rule for the withdrawal of alcohol or liquor for those purposes from
warehouses or denaturing plants, and shall prescribe the manner in which alcohol or liquor may be used,
tax free, for scientific research, in hospitals or sanatoriums, in industrial plants, or for other manufacturing
purposes.
