Springfield XDs

Post by gguess66 »

Has anyone heard if Springfield will put the MOD 2 grips on the XDs? I really like the MOD 2 grips better than the XDs grips.

I would love it if they did. I have a Mod 2 3" 9mm FDE that I love, but I am also considering getting an XDS for those time when the thicker gun will not work.

I think that's called an M&P Shield.

I solved the XDs/Mod2 dilemma by buying one of each.

Grips are not removable on the XDs.

I think the OP was asking about if Springfield would start making the XDS with the Mod 2 grips instead of the current model grips, not removing the existing grips of current pistols and replacing them.

I would love it, but it is probably not going to happen.

I wish they would but for right now the Talon grips feel great.
