Any secure network is only as secure as the one holding the key to security of said network. Once compromised all are compromised.

Why are we even talking about ways to enter into the dark side of the web on this forum? What does it have to do with the OP and this forum? Flame away.

Why? Because there may come a day when conversations like the ones we have here, and certain items of personal property like the ones we discuss here are no longer lawful to hold.......like when Skynet becomes self-aware......and then it might be wise to have an untraceable means of communicating.twomillenium wrote:Why are we even talking about ways to enter into the dark side of the web on this forum? I have a copy of Tor on my laptop. I've only used it maybe a half dozen time, just for the novelty of it. I haven't launched it in more than a year. I don't even know how to access "the dark web" on it......not sure I want to.

Re: Walmart Silliness
I use Tor while traveling - no hotel needs to see my browsing history, nor do I care to have my home DNS record logged for a VPN back to my house. Tor solves that problem.
Also, for the record, the large majority of the real actors from the "dark web" have since left and resorted to use a more exclusive and reclusive private networks. All of the media attention was more or less shining a spotlight into their hidey hole and they have since vacated.
Sure you can still find nasty stuff on Tor, but the real folks who used to use it, hackers, malware, bad actors, they've gone elsewhere.
