Plano Balloon Festival

Post by AZZMIE »

Does anyone know if there will be restrictions for open or concealed carry at this year's Plano Balloon Festival. I want to open carry there this year.

Also, the park appears to be city property, so you should be good to go.
I prefer dangerous freedom to safety in chains.

Let's go Brandon.

They launch balloons from all over. But the majority of the festival is on city property.

Sounds really cool. If I didn't have plans this weekend I might check it out.

Well rats. I've never actually been TO the festival. But if you guys are all gonna go, I may have to walk over (I only live a few miles away). Maybe this is the weekend I see my first open carry.

They fly over the house so I'll watch it from home.

Maybe we can pick a meeting spot and grab some funnel cake? The balloons are always best in the evening then when the sun sets they do the glow and the fireworks.

I think our own Keith B is there and flyin'. I have no idea what his balloon looks like so I can't tell you what to watch for. Wave at all of 'em, just in case. ;-)

Well if Keith B is going to be there, we should just try to meet at his balloon. We know that area will be 2a friendly :)

I think the balloon field is roped off for most of the event
