Going the legal route is a bit of a slap in the face. A light tap as opposed to a 30.06, sure, but a slap none-the-less.
I personally would not shoot at a gun range that posts a 30.07 sign. It feels unfriendly.

When OC first took effect, the Kroger at Long Prairie and Cross Timbers in Flower Mound taped a discreet 81/2" x 11" typed note. It read something like, "We at Kroger expect our customers who lawfully carry firearms to exercise good judgement and follow best safety practices." It was something to that effect and I thought it was pretty neat. I wish I had photographed it then. It came down shortly afterward. I guess once the "blood in the streets" panic subsided, they saw it was really a non-issue.
