Went to the National Buffalo Soldiers Museum in Houston. They sell books, T shirts, etc., but no bar was visible anywhere. Yet they had a 51% sign in the lobby. Didn't ask about it, took my gun outside just to be safe.
Can't imagine that they get most of their money (if any) from selling drinks as opposed to admission fees and souvenirs.

Perhaps because of alcohol being served when the facility is rented out?

As a former "Buffalo Soldier" (modern era, 2/10th Cavalry), I didn't know they had museums, but obviously they do - quite a few according to Google. There are two legal ways for this to happen. One is if the vendor has a license specifically for the museum. Then the sign is probably correct, at least according to the law. As was pointed out, the license covers all property at the address, even if owned or operated by someone else. It is also possible that the vendor has a caterer's license that covers anywhere he works. If the sign was up temporarily for the event, it could be correct then also. I do not recall what the requirements are for a caterer with a license at various locations. If I get time, I will look it up and edit this post later.
