FBI reopening Hillary's (the witch) email investigation

Post by parabelum »

Hmm. :waiting:

"The FBI is probing new emails related to Hillary Clinton, FBI Director James Comey said in a Friday letter.

"In previous congressional testimony, I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton's personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony,""

I'm glad they are reopening the investigation! I hope this time they actually look at the evidence

Can't remember a presidential candidate with so much baggage. The fact that the Democrats even considered her.

James Comey is supplementing his testimony? Doing more investigation on Hitlery? I guess his job as Chief Protector Fox at the hen house is no longer needed. :mad5 :mad5 :mad5 :mad5

Since Comey took it upon himself to decide that the relevant statutes require intent, despite clear wording otherwise, maybe he will actually try to find evidence of intent this time.

His (mis) understanding of the law, coupled with his failure to even look for intent, meant that it was technically impossible for him to have come to a recommendation for prosecution the last time around.

That's a good point... Did anyone ask him about that during his testimony on the investigation?

I want for this to be something, but she seems to be coated with a slimy coating of teflon so far. But I think that it would sure be interesting to have Comey have to appear before Congress again as I think that he would go through a very different line of questioning.

The fact that the FBI knew POTUS had been emailing her from a non- @state.gov email (he had his own private account) meant that they couldn't press charges against her without implicating him. They were never going to bring charges.

I'm having a pessimistic day, so I think this is too little too late. Unless they immediately indict and arrest her, this will mean very little. If she wins, Comey will once again find it prudent to find "no intent" or some such nonsense, and if she loses, everyone will say "hey, her career is over, 'what difference does it make now'" and it will drag out into nothingness.

The only way for Hillary to be punished for her sins is for Trump to win, or for her to be impeached immediately upon taking office, which...well, considering the lack of spine of the Republicans in both houses, we're likely to see SMOD arrive first.

There is another problem. If she wins and is indicted after taking office (highly unlikely), and she does the right thing by resigning before being impeached (also highly unlikely), then Kaine takes over and just pardons her anyway. And then we are stuck with a President Kaine for the next 4 years.

The threat of immediate impeachment could lead to a new campaign slogan, "a vote for Clinton is a vote for Kaine"

Someone, promised to expose all the recovered and missing 30,000 emails if legal action does not happen. A 22 catch. :tiphat: :tiphat:

BTW, all Hilary emails have been found, even the deleted ones. "rlol" "rlol" "rlol" "rlol"

Online rumor trending is something described as an unnamed source at the FBI that says that this may be about violation of Federal laws related to record keeping in that Clinton was told that she was required to copy to State's retention server any official emails, and she didn't. If true, that angle would then bypass Obama having known about her server if they only focus on this one aspect.
