Range Day

Today was a good day. I got to go to the range today. Took my 8 yr old, and my dad, who served in the Marines. We shot my Colt Le 6920, Sig P229, Springfield Xdm, Ruger 10/22, Ruger LC 380, Sig P220 45, Colt Government 1911, and a Vietnam era SKS. Loved every moment. We shot at Shoot Smart, then we headed over to Defender Outdoors. Kinda liked the place. But what a great day. Oh not to mention lunch at M&O Grill. Hope that your dat was just as good.

Glad you had an awesome range day. I'm going to see if I can get one in today when I get off work, or maybe tomorrow. Probably going to be a .22lr day. Model 17 S&W, and a Ruger 10/22.

Did you ever have a problem with your Ruger having failure to ejects?

Not with this one, but I haven't had it that long. Couple months. I've owned one off and on since I was 18 and I can only ever remember one stove pipe style ejection issue. I've never had one completely fail to extract, and only the once case get stuck sticking out the side. No telling how many thousands upon thousands of rounds through them. Think I was like 22 or 23 when it happened. Had a few thousand rounds through it and never been cleaned or lubed. So not exactly a surprise it happened. Testament to how good they are that it only happened once.
