would that constitute "effective consent"?
As long as there was no "bootlegged merchandise" I don't think it would be allowed. You know those "knock-off" Air Jordans, are what is really causing all of our problems.

I'm going there tonight with family. Being a gambling facility I would think that they'd be posted, but texas3006 doesn't have them listed. Since this is not a Sporting/Gaming event I would think that it would be good to go if not posted.
Thanks in advance.
Went last week, posted but way too small. They are searching bags and purses for food and especially knives. No wanding or physical checks. I was confused on the rabid attitude about knives till I saw the displays, several have been slashed as they are made from sheer material and people are jerks.

People have been slashing the displays, picture giant wall of parachute silk just tempting punks and thug kids. I saw several damaged.
Well, that sucks. A shame to be led by the lowest common denominator. I think knife irresponsibility increased when schools banned pocketknives, though. Mine was never a problem, starting back in second grade. It was an icon of self-reliance, something us chubby four-eyed kids need.
What the heck is a "Winter Light?" I still have my light bulbs in from the summer. Will they explode or something if I don't change them to winter lights?

I'm not sure how relevant it is to the question at hand, but the facility no longer even operates as a racetrack and hasn't in some time. However they do show simulcasts of racing from around the country and it looks like you can bet on those. But if there's no actual racing taking place, is it still a racetrack??

I went on Thursday night and the crowd was very light. They had two people working the entrance with a Police officer for security. They were checking bags, but that was it.
The crowd was very light on Thursday since it's a week night and school is still in session. I didn't notice any no-gooders there. I did see that some of the displays had some tearing or fraying, but it was pretty slight and didn't diminish the effect. It didn't look like kids were just running around and slashing them to me. But maybe they maintain them during the day. Mostly what I noticed was that the roughest people in the place were the carnival workers manning the rides, and they stayed away from the lantern festival displays since they had to run the rides.

Wow that's a really good question...I didn't know that. Maybe they're still a "racetrack" because parimutuel wagering still goes on...
