Fingerprinting
My wife's employer is going to begin mandatory fingerprinting of employees. Does anyone know who to contact for info on how to get started? I guess they need to keep these records with the FBI or something. It's for a school and it's the first I've heard of it. They already do a background check. I can't imagine why they'd need fingerprints.

Here is the link to a company that does it as a business to business service, if that is what you are looking for. They handle DPS fingerprinting for things like CHL, DL, police applicants.

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated. Now we just need to find out how to get the cards on record with a state or federal agency.

Talk to those people. They automatically submit them to DPS which also covers the FBI database. You might be able to get them to do what they can, which is verify the identity if the person had been previously fingerprinted, and then run a criminal history for you. They can tell you that the person had never been printed before also, and run the history which should be blank.
But after you get them done there once, they will be in the state and national databases for later verifications.
