I equate storeing powder to storing a small camping propane bottle. Yes it could go boom, but is more akin to a can of gas than an explosive.

The biggest problems with safety go together with NOT doing things in the proper consistent order.

The most likely ways to get hurt,
Not wearing safety glasses when priming.
Not paying attention to amount of powder you are loading
Ignoring the recommendation in the reloading manuals.
