Howdy folks.
I have a brand new in the box Kel Tec P3AT that I may want to sell in order to fund another gun purchase. Right now I am trying to see what a fair asking price would be, and if there might be any interest here for a North Texas FTF/sale. I'm north of Abilene.
This P3AT was purchased and put into the gun safe, it has never been fired. It is the 2nd generation hard chrome model and I have added the pocket clip to it. Everything that came in the box is intact.
Also included in the deal would be the following:
* Factory mag, plus one extra. Both magazines have 'pinkie' extensions installed.
* 2 boxes of ammo:
50 rounds of Remington 88 grain JHP
50 round box of Fiocchi 90 grain FMJHP
* Blued pocket clip installed
* DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster
* DeSantis zippered Belt holster that looks like an I-Pod case, holds P3AT and extra magazine, wide metal belt clip
The serial number (minus last 2 numbers) is: J24XX
When I received this P3AT, I did dissamble and clean it, but no 'fluff and buff' has been done, or anything else.
Does $250.00 sound like a fair price for everything mentioned above ?
Thinking about selling a P3AT....

I'm putting a temporary "Maybe" on this for Member 5111. I will post back once I have contacted him.
Hope this is possible and agreeable as he is really looking for one of these and I will update this as soon as I can get in touch with him.

Just a response to your question of $250.00
I paid $225.00 + Tax for LNIB with pocket holster about 2 weeks back in DFW area gun store. My P3AT they said was never fired and had been traded in on something else. OH and no ammo came with mine and I had to have the pinkie add ons put on the mags as an extra cost.
So I would say your price of $250 is a fair price for everything!
Just two weeks to late for me.

Is yours the model with the hard chrome slide ?
I'll know by Monday for sure if I'll sell this. I'm trying to get an idea of a fair selling price right now as I am working on another gun purchase and could use the funds from selling the P3AT to help with that endeavor.
I just talked with Member 5111.
He is in Austin at this time with no internet access, but he is very interested in this and will be back home in Ft. Worth tomorrow. He will come on the board then and more than likely buy this gun.
So, please put a definite "DIBS" on it until he is able to contact you.

Well, I won't be selling this P3AT after all.
Visited with my son while in Abilene for a doctor's appointment in Abilene today. He is in the Abilene Police Academy and we were able to have lunch with him.
When I mentioned I was thinking of selling the P3AT for financing another trade, he asked me not to, said he was already planning on trying to talk me out of the P3AT, just had not gotten around to it yet. It seems that a lot of the APD Officers carry a Kel-Tec as their BUG gun and that's why he wants the P3AT.
Sure can't say no to my own son, especially since it will be his BUG and just might save his life one day.
Sorry 5111, I do appreciate your interest though.
