Question on Utah CCW Training

Post by mescobar_rpls »

I apologize in advance if this is not the right category for this topic.

So my wife and I are planning a trip to Washington State this summer. I have my Texas LTC but Washington does not have reciprocity with Texas. I understand that acquiring a Utah CCW will allow me to carry in Washington.

Does anyone know of an instructor in the Austin area that teaches for the Washington CCW?

I believe Idaho and North Dakota are the only states Washington honors.

Washington State does indeed have reciprocity with Utah. I myself am looking to get a Utah CFP. The closest instructor to Austin I could find is Skyraider Arms up in Alvarado, TX. Details are in the link below.

David with Skyraider is a good guy. Took my NRA Pistol Instructor from him, and I’m going back for Rifle Instructor next month.

It says “Alvarado”, but he mostly teaches at 287 and Broad St. in Mansfield.

Color me wrong. I didn't read far enough into the site I looked at.
