Yeah. I kind of want to go say how the police department claimed that they were all firearms taken from prohibited persons or evidence in criminal cases, and ordered destroyed by the courts. But there's not really any evidence supporting that (that I had seen), and there are still issues about cases where a firearm is lawfully used in self defense, taken as evidence (arguably all okay to that point), then held forever and/or destroyed before it can be returned to the owner.
