Not racially motivated.

Two gunmen entered at 1:30 am and began shooting. About 40 people in the bar at the time.

May have been in the bar earlier and had gotten in an argument.

Will look up if gun free victim zone.

Missouri is very gun friendly.

Can’t carry a gun into a bar. They may have constitutional open carry. A CHL can carry into a bar concealed, but if asked to leave they must. Can’t be impaired and carry.

Legally you CAN’T carry into a bar in Missouri; there’s just no penalty unless you fail to leave when asked. Kinda like having to present your LTC when asked for ID and carrying in Texas. Still legally required, just no penalty.

Missouri has always been legal for unlicensed open carry, but individual municipalities can prohibit it by ordinance. Just recently they made concealed carry legal without a license, but there are penalties for carrying into off-limits locations if you are not licensed. When that law came into effect, it made open carry WITH a license supersede city ordinance and legal.
