I'm in leander - so you are at least as far south of Austin as I am north of it.

About carry method for her - what does she wear on a daily basis? If a purse is out of the question, does she always wear a belt? Preferably with something sturdy like jeans... then all of the belt holster options are there. And some companies even make slightly different cuts for women.

If no belt, then what about shoulder holster? At least is is a 1911 so finding good holsters should be no problem. Much easier to find them for a 1911 than for (say) my CZ97.

I work at FCI Texarkana, and whenever there's any play wrasslin' in our house, everyone claims my techniques are unfair.

Oh, well.
