Memphis is another city that has gone the way of the democrat. Gang violence and crime have just taken over. My daughter is 38 now and has always loved Elvis Presley. From the time she was 12 years old I would take her down to Memphis to stay at the heartbreak hotel and visit Graceland at least yearly.About ten years ago she got married at Graceland. I took all the family and friends there. Did Beale Street and the whole nine yards. Over the years I watched the place disintegrate as those areas became more and more ghetto. Her wedding was the last time we went. The whole darned area was like a trip to a criminal fantasy land. There were lurking thugs everywhere and at every corner. Elvis Presley is probably rolling in his grave. It is a shame. Memphis is lost forever. Another city destroyed by progressive democrat policies, instituted only to keep people under their control.
