First Gibson guitar

Bourbon Burst in color, purchased from Sweetwater. I doubt I can do this justice, being a poor guitarist - but I'm going to make the effort and I've wanted a real Les Paul for decades.

Nice! You even got a standard... I am saving up for a studio. It will be guitar number 5 and my last guitar. I want a real Gibson LP.

Very nice, but I detected a critical flaw right off the bat: it’s right handed. Was the seller aware of this flaw when he foisted this useless (to me) guitar off on you?

Andy, in case you havent get some ernie ball strap locks. I have dropped several guitars until I changed out the standard mounts for strap locks. Nice strap also. I like that.

The first thing I thought when I saw the strap was that it looked like a rifle sling.

I wanted a strap on it that looked distressed and kinda Dystopian/gun-related - LM Products' Odin Viking strap, by the way.

I have Schaller locks, just hadn't installed them when I took that pic first - but yep, excellent advice :thumbs2: The Studio model you're going for is just as good - doesn't have the fancy binding around the edge is about all, so it's great value.
