Whoa there nelly... You keep that badboy on your side of the bed. Is that your CCW weapon?

Oh BTW, nice cat in the doorway. Is he quick?
My carry gun is my XD sub 9.

Yep. Quick to scratch and quick to claw.

My favorite fun gun is also my choice if I know I am in a high threat situation.

Probably would have to be one of my .22LRs because they are so much fun and CHEAP to shoot. On a trip to the range I usually go through 50rounds of 9mm, 50 rounds of .45, and 350 rounds of .22LR.

All in all, a .22 is pretty hard to beat for being fun and affordable.

My Daughter and I have put a zillion rounds through these Rugers and the Marlin 39 "Mountie".

I have two favorite guns.

My overall fave is a stainless steel Gold Cup Custom Edition Colt Commander in 45ACP. I bought this in the mid 90's almost NIB with maybe 50 rounds through it tops. It came from the factory with a lowered & flared port, a beavertail, a beveled mag well, and a beautiful set of rosewood grips. I have since modified it to include a Videcki trigger, a full length two piece guide rod, an arched mainspring housing, a set of checkered wooden grips, and a set of tritium night sights that conform to the original Colt/Eliason style adjustable sights. It also has an action job with the trigger set to 4 lbs.

It's very accurate and I frequently use it as a carry piece.

Equally enjoyable to shoot is a Hammerli 208S in 22LR that I bought new in 2000. The gun is box stock except for an Ultradot sight. For bullseye, nothing beats a 208S.

My favorite shooter is a Mosin-Nagant 91/30. I've got it fitted with Mojo sights, and have found this gun to be great for working on self-control and technique. Here we are at the range:

22s are fun.

Suppressed 22s are more fun.

Ever try the thing with the 2 liter soda bottle and a little duct tape?

I haven't. ;-)

Just wondering if you had.

A twin 10-22 mounted on a tripod with a hand crank that alternately fires one then the other, as fas as you can turn the crank. Mini Gatling gun. That thing eats up .22 ammo quick

It would be easier to pick a gun I don't like to shoot than to pick a favorite! :willynilly:

I have two:

Kel-Tec Sub 2000 9mm; and

AMT Lightning .22 pistol (Ruger clone).

Both are very effective ammo stockpile depletion devices.

The Uzi carbine is hard to beat.

Accuracy at close ranges with very little recoil, so fun!

I guess if I had to pick a favorite it would be the first one I carried in LE. Not 100% pretty, but it IS 100% reliable -
