Woman with history of domestic violence complaints against her disappeared in April 2013, and her husband was later found shot six times and buried in the backyard under some stones. Their children (who were in the house sleeping when their father was murdered there) were found with relatives near Indianapolis but the woman's whereabouts were unknown until 19 May 20 when she was identified by a Customs and Border Protection agent when she crossed from Mexico into California (San Diego). She has been extradited to Dallas. Police had suspected she was hiding in Mexico.

Police had her home's security video trying to load her husband's body into an SUV, but she could not lift it off the ground. So she dragged the body into the backyard and buried it, using rocks in the yard and apparently bringing in rocks with her SUV. Here: https://www.fox4news.com/news/video-sho ... bands-body

She apparently then cleaned the house as thoroughly as she could. She never thought to do something about the house's security video cameras?

According to the video report in the second link the husband's younger brother found the house empty and the family gone and called police. Police searched the house and found no foul play so wrote a missing persons report. Two weeks later the brother returned, smelled decay, and found his brother's body buried in the back yard under some rocks.

For some reason the video did not emerge, at least publicly, until 2016. The police reinvestigated and this time found three bullet holes and evidence of a large amount of blood in the master bedroom and hallway.

This is an odd one.
