More fuel for conviction to be overturned....clear bias that had nothing to do with the facts.

Saying that jury duty is a way to "make positive change" shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the role of a juror, which is limited to the finding of facts related to a case.

It's similar to a journalism student who says they want to be a reporter so they can "make positive change". I'm sorry, but reporters should be reporting facts in an unbiased manner, and should not be trying to influence societal changes.

I'm surprised that they were arrested and not given keys to the city instead. It will be telling as to whether they actually see any consequences for their actions. The keys to the city are still possible.
