Update: CNN made it official today. Chris Cuomo is no longer suspended. He's fired!
Would have been epic had they told him he's fired by playing a clip of Trump from "The Apprentice".

Listening to a talking head on Fox yesterday, I think he's probably got it right. It wasn't out of any sense of CNN journalistic ethics over the reporting--or non-reporting--about his big brother's gubernatorial fiasco that got Chris Cuomo axed. That got him "suspended" as a thespian show of action and concern on CNN's part. But then the accusations surfaced of like-brother-like-brother abuse of women. Odds are that CNN examined those accusations, determined there was real meat to them, and very quickly decided to fire their prime-time golden boy to create legal separation from Cuomo and the network. He was already suspended with a big splotch of ink on his resume, and they wanted as little as possible to do with any sexual assault lawsuits that were filed. It was simply CNN looking out for number one with the easy tossing of golden-boy under the bus.

Either way, I'm perfectly fine with the end result.

Man sets fire to Fox News Outdoor Christmas Tree in NYC.

Homeless Man arrested. “ I didn’t do it”. He is released without bail.

Arson is difficult to prove without security video or eyewitnesses.

Arson is easy to prove! Proving who committed arson is the tough part!

Believe it or not, they caught the idiot with the lighter. Security folks at Fox saw this moron climbing the tree. The weird part is how they classify the crime. If he used an accelerant-Felony. If he didn't-misdemeanor. I believe that is how I heard it on Fox.

They already have it set back up and are going to fire up(no pun intended) the lights tonight. They need to hire an armed gaurd with a night scope and just shoot the next idiot who tries this out of the tree.

NY governor's race: Attorney General Letitia James suspends campaign
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ny-gov ... s-campaign
New York Attorney General Letitia James is suspending her campaign for governor after less than two months.
Ya think she saw the writing on the wall and realized she would only be able to get about 5% of the vote? This is our ol' buddy who thinks trying to prosecute the NRA and President Trump is of a higher priority than New York's crime rate and mass exodus, or former Gov. Cuomo letting people die of COVID in nursing homes.

With any luck she'll be voted out as attorney general as well...

19 dead in high rise old building apartment fire.

No sprinklers, most likely no fire alarm and no door closers on door to common hallway. (Let’s the fire quickly spread)

How much is a door closer $150. I’m going to guess a rent controlled building. Interesting how when you mess with the free market, bad things happen.

I love how Democrats really care for the poor.
