Looking for recommendations for an AK smith in DFW to swap out the rear trunion on my M92 SBR. It currently has a fixed triangle, but I want a fixed wood stock. The triangle is just impractical. M70 rear trunion seems like the obvious choice, but I’m no expert.

I have a hard time believing no one on here uses an AK gunsmith in DFW.

Try Bearcreek Firearms on 1709 in Keller. I know he’s built full auto AKs from scratch for Keller PD…although that was a few years ago. The owner is a gunsmith. Maybe he can help you.

I appreciate it, I knew someone on here has worked with a gunsmith around here.
