Apparently things are so bad in England that showing off the Union Jack is enough to get you arrested. It apparently causes people discomfort so it is now illegal. There was a story about govt employees getting counciling after a flag incident. Plus I think comedy sketch about getting pot holes immediately fixed by painting a Red Cross on them. ( Red Cross is part of the Union Jack) the Union Jack is the flag of the anti immigrant right wing party in the UK.

They may be now beyond help.

Shock Fatigue – Nothing over there will surprise me any more. Maybe just maybe, if the mob rises up and storms Parliament killing large numbers of the members with blunt instruments while at the same time setting fire to New Scotland Yard and BBC Broadcasting House, then I just might be pleasantly surprised.

Now having just said that I am sure they will arrest me if I ever return, which is something that I no longer have any desire to do.
