Through my time on this forum I have asked for prayer several times, each and every time those prayers were answered. Most of these prayers have been health for my family or myself and this is no different. Out of 5 kids, either biological or by marriage, 3 of them have battled cancer, 2 of which you kind folks have prayed for and won. For those prayers I thank each of you with all of my heart.
Now I come to you for prayers for the 3rd that is going through it. My middle daughter has colon cancer that has spread into her spine and liver. She will be going through her 3rd surgery in a week this Thursday and they are only giving her a 50/50 chance that it will work. If it doesn't work, they have said it's pretty much all they can do barring a miracle. Now I have seen what the power of prayer can do and believe the more people praying the better. I already have a multitude praying from my church but you folks have come through for my family in years past and I believe you will again. Please say a quick prayer for my daughter, Denise as she go through this. Thank you in advance.

Praying for Denise to have a successful surgery and full remission and recovery, as well as strength for those that love her.

Re: Prayers needed again please-UPDATE
I want to thank everyone for their prayers for Denise. After 3 long weeks in the hospital and 4 different surgeries, she was released to go home yesterday.
We are still not sure what her short term prognosis is but long term, it is terminal (they don't know our God). The way MD Anderson works is that every specialist has a "team'. Her IR team that did the surgeries says there is nothing more that they can do. Her gastro team says there are some things they can try. Her actual oncologist (who she goes to next Monday) says she needs to wait on all of the info from the other teams. This has been maddening for sure.
It was Denise's goal to get out in time to go to Arkansas to see my grandson graduate and she has succeeded in that. The family has rented a large house for everyone to stay in. They did clear her to travel but said she is not to go to the stadium for the festivities. She will be able to watch online and at least she will be around her family which I think will do her more good that anything she has done in the past 3 weeks.
Please keep praying for her.
