.45acp once-fired clean brass - .05/rd (DFW, TX)

Post by orionengnr »

I have three .30 cal ammo cans and one .50 cal ammo can filled with once-fired, tumbled clean mixed-headstamp .45acp brass.
At one point I had about 11,000 cases, but we are moving and I am downsizing for the move.
I'll keep enough for my future needs but the excess must go.

Please see pics--one .30 cal can is marked "936" which means I counted these at one point. The rest were marked "1000" which was an estimate.
The .50 cal can was marked "1725" which is also an estimate, but after weighing each and doing some rough math, the revised estimate is 1600 for the .50 cal can.

To derive my prices, I looked for once-fired .45acp brass for sale in bulk. The guys who do it full-time gat about 17.5 cents per. I found some private guys selling for 10 cents per. New Starline brass is 24 cents per if you are buying 1000. I am selling for 5 cents per round.
--For the .30 cal cans, that works out to about $50 plus $10 for the can, $60 total (each).
--For the .50 cal can, $80 plus $10 for the can, $90 total.
--If you don't want the can, I will deduct that price and deliver them in a grocery bag.

Meet up at either Lewisville Tom Thumb (3040) another location as mutually agreed upon.
