Crap happens sale:

CMP Garand: Manufactured by Springfield. Assembled to be correct--with the exception of the after market stock (was correct except for Op-Rod. New op-rod, bolt, to correct) New stock is Boyds walnut, matt tung oil finish. Headspace checked, test fired only. Trigger work done by Clint McKee at Fulton Armory.

So it's a CMP surplus rifle?

Just curious, what was it rated when you purchased and why the stock change?

I'm interested in one of these b/c the requirements for CMP are kind'a long.

Sorry if any of these questions seem obvious, I've wanted one of these for a while and haven't done much research.
