I have been watching for the same in all the gun forums the last 4 months.
Not a one. People are keeping these.
I'm just going to buy a new one and get it over with.

You guys are right; there is not much reason to buy a used one - they hold their value. Call Becky at sportingarms.com in Lewisville. I bought a bunch of Henrys and Rugers there last year. Lots of good handguns including highend 1911s also. It's hard to beat their prices and impossible to beat the service.

Sales@SportingArms.com, or call (972) 315-9086

Becky is great to work with.

Yeah, frankly it seems really rare to stumble across one. I think everyone intends to heirloom them or something to their kids.

Sports Authority has the H001 basic rifle on sale for $229.99 right now. kinda surprising, they always looked on the verge of discontinuing gun sales altogether. Never had anyone at the gun counter. sometimes they have some good deals though.

Stopped at the local store and was in the process of buying a new Henry.
Just before finalizing the deal the guy at the counter said "Tell you what, why don't you look this over ONE MORE time before I box it up". I did, and sure 'nuff there was a nick in the forearm wood. No big deal but when i'm buying a new gun, I want to put the first blemish on it myself. So i'm still looking.
