How big is that Sig 239 in comparison to the XD subcompact?? My wife likes the size of the XD, but I am more comfortable with Sig. I realize that the sig is a bit bigger, I just wondered if there was a huge difference. Thanks.

Actually the 239 is a bit smaller than the XD. It's very thin.

jbirds, if you are looking for a good 9mm you will like it. My wife & Mother both shoot the 232. Almost exactly the same except for caliber. .380. Have done some buying from HV & he is good to deal with.

jbirds, got my wife a 232 and a 239. She sold the 232 so she could have Teddy Jacobson do a trigger job on her 239. It is not as small as a small car, but can be concealed with minimal effort.
