OK,...here's the deal.....
I have a "almost new" Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II with External Extractor that I bought brand new in 2004 from Gunmaster in Plano for 811.00 (tax Inc.). Then I paid them to install Night Sights (can't remember how much that was).
I had some problems (as others) with the extractor and instead of fooling with Kimber and their 2 or 3 iterations of changes to the extractor that still did not work, I fixed mine myself by filing off a bit of material, allowing the hook to go deeper into the casing. I have not had any problem with it since. Gunmaster installed the Night Sights on it and I will include the standard factory sights in the deal.
Now, I don't shoot it much. That's why I say "almost new". I put about 500 rounds thru it and then I carried it for a couple of years.
I am only home about 6 months a year and I only go out every other week or so when I am home. So it has not been carried much.
I have two 4" Kimbers now and prefer to shoot them. Plus I have a Springer EMP on the way and I no longer have a need for this UCII.
I have a large ganglion cyst on my shooting wrist that was caused by shooting .357 Mag in a SP-101 and I find the snappiness of the UCII recoil aggravates wrist/cyst. The 4" Kimbers do not affect my wrist as much......yet to see what the EMP will do....may have that for sale soon!
So, enough of the story......here's what's for sale:
Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II with Night Sights and external extractor. I have NO BOX (Plastic Case). This is because I am keeping the Plastic Case for another Kimber I have that did not come with one. NO FACTORY RUBBER GRIPS. I have misplaced them somewhere......
I have installed a Steel MSH but will include the Factory Plastic MSH in the bag.This pistol comes with all the paperwork/folders (including my receipt as purchased new), Kimber cable lock, standard factory sights (in bag), a black "Allen" zippered pistol rug and ONE Kimber Factory Mag.....yep....only one mag......that's all they came with!
I will offer it in two configurations:
750.00 gets you the gun described above with real elephant ivory grips from Nutmeg Sports (with certification letter) along with 3 Wilson Combat mags with thin metal basepads (pictured). Also included is a Custom Horseshoe Leather (Andy's) Black RH slide holster.
600.00 gets you the gun, paperwork etc & pistol rug, single Kimber Mag and NO WILSON MAGS & NO GRIPS & NO HOLSTER. As I said, I do not have any grips to put on it since I either lost or gave away the factory grips by mistake.
This deal is for DFW FTF ONLY. Transfer to take place North of DFW (Denton or McKinney).
Now, a little more about the External Extractor:
I am so confident in my "adjustment" of this extractor, that I am willing to offer you a limited guarantee that you will not have any problems with it as long as you use quality factory ammo. As long as you notify me within 10 days of sale and return the gun in the same condition that it was when you purchased it, I will return your money in cash.
Now, what that means is that if you want your money back, you have to notify me within 10 days after you buy it. Then you have to wait for me to be available to get it back from you. I am leaving for overseas at the end of this Month and could be gone for 8 weeks or so......
EDIT: Lowered the Guarantee from 30 days to 10 days. I figure 10 days is enough for you to decide if you are happy not.
