Wanted to, but just wasn't a wise move for me with Mars' recent accident.

I'm hoping the opportunity comes around again; that's a pretty sweet deal.
(I'm still a regular member though.)

Ya know, after this offer wraps up at the end of the week, we need a final show of hands so we can see how many new life members our little Forum generated in...just three days and a few hours.

I've been an annual member since the 90's and decided this was an opportune year to become a lifer.

Thanks for the referral Anygun!

I guess I asked the wrong question when I asked for someone to sponsor me. When I got a PM from a recent lifer, I didn't get home from work on time to take advantage.
I hope there is another opportunity in the near future, otherwise, I'm an annual member.
I believe there is safety in numbers..
numbers like: 9, .22, .38, .357, .45, .223, 5.56, 7.62, 6.5, .30-06...

Has anyone received anything in the mail yet to confirm membership? I did get a charge on my credit card and was given a member number but I have not received anything else :totap:

If you already had an annual membership, your profile information on the NRA Website should have been updated to show "lifetime--active" within a few days of your upgrade.

I was told it would be two to three weeks before my new credentials were mailed. And as I posted elsewhere, I called NRA headquarters last week to confirm that we new lifetime members would be receiving ballots--mailed separately from your NRA magazine of choice--for the current NRA board-of-directors voting.

But I'm looking forward to my NRA Lifetime Member lapel pin, too.
