Anygunanywhere (Update)

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Anygunanywhere (Update)

Post by anygunanywhere »

Prayer request from Canada:

At work yesterday in the middle of a snowstorm I slipped on some hidden ice, fell and shattered my left fibula. Experienced Canada socialised medicine first-hand.

The ER put my ankle back together so that my left foot actually points in the same direction I am heading. I have a metal splint holding things together. FYI, the airlines will not let you fly with a fresh fracture in a cast.

I am flying non-stop to IAH tomorrow from Calgary. A friend is driving me to Calgary from Edmonton today.

I will have surgery to pin everything back together in Houston.

I appreciate any assistance you follks can help wrangle for me. Being hurt far from home is horrible.

Lift up my Canadian brothers too, please. They are truly a great bunch of friends who took excellent care of me.

You are added to my daily prayer list. Best wishes for a successful surgery and short recovery. Let us know in which hospital you will be staying.

We might need to put you in the recliner next to Mars.

I'm sorry to hear about this, Anygun. You're in my prayers for a quick recovery.

That sounds like a bad one. I hope the Houston Doctors get you back together properly and painlessly. Prayers sent.

Doggone Anygun! You sure know how to have a good time visiting out of country! That's a rough one. We've got you added here. They don't let you travel with a cast because the altitude and seating position can make swelling worse and cut off circulation, or increase chances of a blood clot. The splint will give a little so that doesn't happen. Just take your pain pills and try to rest as best you can. They'll take good care of you back in Houston. Keep us updated. Prayers for a speedy recovery too!

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Man that hurt just reading it!

You got our prayers here too. And, if we were closer to Houston, you would also get a visit. But, just know we are thinking of you and praying for your full recovery.
