How are you spending your welfare check?

How are you spending your welfare check?
Most of us are getting a $600 check this summer. Married couples get double. If you have kids, you get a bigger check.
Some people call it economic stimulus. Some people call it welfare. Whatever you call it, how are you spending it?
In honor of Eliot Spitzer, the last poll option is for people who are going to blow the money on alcohol or prostitutes or something else the ex New York governor would approve of.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If it's on the internet, thank a geek.

I am going to spend some on wine, women and song. The rest, I am going to blow on something foolish.

I'd really love to put it toward a black rifle, (and may still) but it will probably go toward debt retirement.

Well, I look at it this way...
I'm married, no kids, and am not expecting anything between either of us...That way when this "koozie toss" of an election year gimmick finally starts coming in the mail for others, I get to confirm what I've known all along...
And we got a taste of it last night at the hockey game...

Well, unless something changes, I am getting a Bushmaster Ar-15. It will be their 20" barrel "target" version, which is just the full length forearm and stock. That is the most like the old M-16 I was most familiar with.
My problem is which type of carrying handle. I can go for the A2 fixed style or the A3 removable. Rules for carrying it say I must qualify with iron sights, but currently do not mention lasers or optics. If I go with the A3, I will get an EOtech red dot type sight, and a flip up rear site. If I go for the A2, I will go with a Crimson Trace laser. Their laser won't fit the A3 (well, they have one but I don't want the vertical foregrip style).

I voted for black rifle, because I guess I might. Really I'll probably do what they want us to do least - save it.

I'm taking my wife to Las Vegas for our 35th anniversary. She's never been there so I thought it would be nice to take her for a long weekend. That way when I get back home and buy another gun she won't have too much to say!
It won't stop her but hopefully it will be minimal.

Pretty sure we all have to pay it right back the following the year, but mine/ours will go toward "Juniors" tuition. Won't go very far, but every bit helps.

I am going to loan it directly back to our government in the form of a United States "I" Savings Bond and charge approximately 4 percent interest for 25 years, give or take a few.

It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them

What? Nobody for the Spitzer special? I guess thats because you would have to combine almost 10 peoples checks just to buy 2 hours of time. =)
I will be buying disney world tickets for the family vacation this summer. Its perfect timing really. A colossal waste of every taxpayers money, but perfect timing for me anyway. =)
