Nice Calls/E-Mails

Post by Monkey404error »

As the waiting has become unbearable for some of us, I have seen that people have been able to call or e-mail the DPS to find out that they have already been approved, the card just got put in the out pile that goes out at the end of every month or something.
I was wondering, if anybody that has been able to get thier CHL simply by calling or e-mailing, what where some of the succesful things that you said/wrote that got you your CHL faster (although I realize that if you have you CHL your probably not in the waiting room anymore); so that, those of us still waiting, might be able to help our license's get to our hands faster

Enjoying the wait as much as I enjoy having a root canal :banghead:

I emailed them last week. My online status said "Processing application". I asked them in the email if there was any other information that they needed from me. The response I received was "Your license was issued yesterday" Please allow 7-10 days for delivery. I think that it might help.

During processing, I received a letter from the DPS requesting more information. I submitted that information via email to Simone at DPS and it was sufficient for their purposes. It was a pretty long time between the time they cashed my check and the time my license was issued, about 70 days. I know that some of the other guys on the forum have waited longer though.
