I just ordered a DeSantis Scorpion for my 1911. I usually carry my Glock 30, but I've been considering carrying the 1911 for awhile. I'm planning on trying the full sized, but I'm on the search for a compact or micro compact 1911, Kimber, Para, or Springer probably. I'll post a pic for you when I get the holster. Hope you don't get bogged down in all the options! Tracking shows UPS to deliver tomorrow.

Thank's for all the help guys. I guess I'll just order her a DeSantis or Galco for daily carry. Not sure which one fits the Micro Compact yet though. I was really looking for something kinda custom and personalized but it's not worth the hassle or the expense some holster makers charge. I have a Desantis for my MP compact that I really like. I bought it from the S & W web site with the S & W , M & P stamp on it. It fits and feels great.

I went the Tucker route. I've got a Tucker Answer for a full size 1911 that I find very comfortable. After a 7 month wait I just got my Tucker HF-1, gunbelt & double magazine pouch. The gunbelt with my Answer makes it even better.

Those HF-1 holsters are gorgeous. Y'all are good to go if we ever get open carry.
