Sure, I used to smoke those, and Swisher Sweets on occasion before I got into premium cigars! As long as you're in good company and enjoying yourself, you could smoke a rolled up banana peel and I'd count it for ya!

This is making me want to go get some cigars. I have not had one since New Years Eve. And it had been almost 2 years since the last one before that.

Has any one tried the new Kinky Friedman cigars? I have heard that they are a good smoke.

When I was in college, I thought a relaxing with a premium cigar and a drink was a Roi-Tan and a Lonestar.

Haven't really smoked many since then, but when I used to go to Canada, I would get a real Cuban cigar (recommendation of someone in the know) and enjoy it with a nice French Merlot.

Can't knock the LoneStar! I feel more Texan every time I drink one! ;-)

Cleaning my guns under the patio umbrella is when I enjoy a cigar most. Mine: La Gloria Cubana Meduro; La Fleur Dominica Double Leguro - Chisel Head (Rush Limbaugh's favorite cigar). The chisel heads will make you a little loopy, especially while you have an open bottle of Hoppes solvent on the table so wait until after your finished cleaning to have a glass of wine!

I like the Padron 1964 anniversary but found the CAO to be the same or a tad bit better for half the price.

Black and Milds have a very refined rich flavor, especially when running a bulldozer. Something about the aroma of the smoke, the diesel fumes, the odor of grease all mingled together. As the overbearing humidity of summer fades and the air turns crisp, late September and October is a great time to light up. Another winner in that category is the el cheapo King Edward Blunt. Tampa Nugget was a great cigar. Thirty-five years ago, Muriel Magnums and El Producto Presidents were boss, but seems like the tobacco in them just ain't what it used to be. I wouldn't know a premium cigar any more than I would a well paying job. But I know a good smoke.
