Clinton mailing attacks Obama on guns

This is amusing and encouraging. Now Obama, if he hasn't already done so, needs to release something pointing out Clinton's rabid anti-gun position as well.

Hillary Clinton has re-opened her sharp attack on Barack Obama's position on guns, with a mailer in Indiana that seeks to raise questions about him with both supporters and opponents of gun rights.

The mailing -- perhaps the sharpest-edged of Clinton's five negative mail pieces in Indiana -- casts him as a typical politician, saying different things to different audiences. It also revives his damaging comments in San Francisco that small town people cling to guns.

Then, making the harsh case more broadly, the mailer asks: "What does Barack Obama really believe?"

The piece is particularly striking coming from Clinton, who has been seen for most of her career as a firm advocate of gun control, but more recently has emerged -- without dramatically shifting her stance on specific issues -- as a defender of the Second Amendment who fondly recalled being taught to shoot by her grandfather in Scranton.

Hmm. This from a candidate who would jump all over a resurected AWB bandwagon! Who's just telling target audiences what they want to hear? A liar AND a hypocrite. How nice.

Yep & if these to pots holler loud enough at each other over the gun issues

then the news media will not be able to hide it & they might just shoot their own selves in the foot.

Then again, I've read posts by some saying that they'd rather see Hillary in the White House than McCain.

Maybe it's their votes she is going after.

The difference is that the Clintons actually have been effective in banning. Obamama hasn't been around long enough nor shown up enough to vote to actually have made a difference.

Hillarity: Hillary's campaign posted a flyer with a fake news clipping, whose headline said Obama was attacking her gas plan.

Then some folks broke out the magnifying glasses, and saw that the text of the article was actually a "Troopergate" story.

Really, now. Elsewhere, you have admitted to carrying a Taurus revolver, so I'm going to assume that you really are a CHL holder and not an anti-gun bigot trolling this forum. You should perhaps do a little research on Obama, his beliefs, and especially his voting record before you go drinking the "hope and change" kool-aid. Hillary Clinton sure is lying, but so is Obama. This month's American Rifleman and America's First Freedom both have good peices on Obama's Second Amendment record. If you want to do your own original research, his voting record is laid out for all the world to see in the Congressional Record. Have you read Obama's books? Maybe you should.

Vote for who you want to, but just make sure you know who you're really voting for first.

There is no question that Hillary is a liar, but she's telling the truth about Obama being a raging anti-gunner. But I'm sure you know this "Amber." As for lying, the only reason Hillary is better at it than Obama is because she's older and has had much more experience. But rest easy, your candidate is practicing daily and I'm sure he'll be just as good in a few more weeks.
