They are waking up in Britain (too late?)

Post by Doug.38PR »

http://transsylvaniaphoenix.blogspot.co ... -guns.html

The British have finally woke up...but if the government says "no you can't have you guns back".....what are they going to do? Paint some more signs and stand around in front of parliment and chant some more? (real manly isn't it) That's about all they can do.

Interesting about that poor fellow who is in prison (initially for life) for cutting down two pieces of garbage that tried to rob his house. (Joe Horn, are you watching that thanking the Good Lord that Comrad Rosenthalski didn't put you there?)

I suppose of worst came to worst the British could just do what the criminals do and get their guns off the black market (since the RTKBA is a RIGHT not a privilege) and if the government objects....well...wasn't it Stephen F. Austin who said "It's time to load our guns and assert our rights"????

They should get local authorities (counties) to nullify Parliment law and defend people's RTKBA

And after a rash of knife related violence in recent months, they are looking at banning knives and/or allowing for knife searches/seizures. The idiocy continues.

They have already started those knife searches/seizures, no probable cause needed---at least in Scotland. Multi-year prison sentences if you are caught with virtually any type of blade.

Criminal use of knives has been a serious problem in "cool Britannia" for a long time, but obsessing over the weapons, handing out ASBOs, and throwing up CCTV cameras everywhere will yield only marginal improvements in public safety, if any.

It is a shame that the land that produced the Magna Carta, the English language, and otherwise contributed to Western civilization seems to be turning its back on most of those things.

If we aren't careful, we are headed down the very same path.

Scotland....sigh, I like many Southerners, am decended from Scots and Irish it's sad to see the land that produced William Wallace, Robert the Bruce, John Paul Jones and Bonnie Prince Charles and was the halmark of individuality and resistance to tyranny for centuries and were victims of tyranny for centuries (being forbidden the RTKBA, to wear kilts, to play the pipes etc.) have been reduced to submissive Europeans of the socialist world.

Giving up your knife? Shucks, a 17th century Highlander would have given it to you....in your gut.

It is amazing how far a mighty country that stood up to a mad man and said... we shall fight, and "never, never, never, give up! -Winston Churchill ...has fallen. It is even more unnerving to see what is happening in the USA.

I don't buy the argument that once you lose it you can never get it back, but will be a long hard struggle if the British people are up to it .
It can happen here.

No, the Politically correct cowards and goody goody people will say Criminals have rights.

Just like they are trying to do here, they start out a little at a time and before anyone realizes, your rights are gone. Once they are gone you can't get them back. We must look at Europe and remember we can be next.

Don't forget that they had to beg and plead for others to arm them, and the US loaned them a lot of small arms, many personal and receipted, and then they destroyed them after the war.
