WTB: S&W K Frame 3" UPDATED

Post by JLaw »

UPDATE: No longer in the market, I ordered a Smith Model 19 2.5" ( ) from someone in PA. Will post pics in General section when it arrives.

I'm looking for a 3" Smith K Frame (pre-lock), in .38 or .357 cal. Blue or stainless, either way. Prefer a fixed sight, will consider adjustable. Will be for concealed carry. Most models in the 2-3" barrell will be considered, FTF in Houston/North of Houston prefered. .38 Spl non - +P is okay, so if you want to sell it, let me know. Post or PM pics and price. Model 10, 13, 15, 19, 64, 586, 686, any and all. Only downside is I'm looking in the $400.00 (or less) range. :???:. All will be considered. My preference would be a Model 10 or 13 3", would consider 2" if the $ is right. BTW- looking for good to very good condition.

Is there such a thing as a 3" 19? I've sure never seen or heard of one (would like to).

Whatever you get, take note now and don't even think about posting about your new gun without taking pictures first.

Don't know. I figure just cause I haven't seen one doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Yep, and if you ever find one, either buy it or call me so I can! There were very few made, but I'd love to have one. I have 3 S&W Mod. 19's in 2 1/2", but the ejector rods are not long enough to fully eject the brass. I'm not sure a 3" will either, but it might. However, that might be only the second gun I own that I wouldn't shoot.

Regards,
Chas.
