S&W 642 - DFW.

Post by carlson1 »

WTS Smith and Wesson 642 J Frame. The gun has had approximately 60 rounds through the gun after purchasing it brand new. It has not been fired since. Included is the box and all original contents, the original Uncle Mikes boot grips, Hogue Bantam boot grips (installed on gun), an Uncle Mikes IWB holster, and 2 HKS speedloaders. It was only carried it in a carry bag in a vehicle. FTF in DFW. Excellent shape. - $400.00

Brother, I'd take this off your hands as a potential carry for my wife (on Keith B's recommendation), if it's still available. Any plans to be in Tyler soon? I'd love to be the one to buy you lunch this time. :)

I know I will be there July 1st, but I am sure I can work a trip in there between now and then if you would like. I can always use the excuse to "see the grand kids." ;-)

I don't want to cause you to have to drive, so I can certainly wait until July 1st or I can come to Dallas.

On the other hand, if you really want to come, any day works fine for me, except for June 28th when I'me unavailable. Any other day is good!

DRW,
We gave my FIL one for his birthday and after I shot it, I told him if he didn't like it, I'd take it off his hands!! He didn't go for it.

I was afraid with it having such a short barrel and the lighter weight - the recoil might be harsh, but I was very pleasantly surprised!! It's on my list of favorite guns.

I hope the deal works out for you.
