Keep an eye on this site: http://www.texasshooting.com/index.php? ... =33:events

Charles has said that he will put up a web form for registration.

The entire event does not "fill up" per se, but individual classes fill up quickly. If you don't make it into one, you can stand around and watch (which is mostly what I did last year).

I hope to post the final schedule and Registration Form by tonight or tomorrow night. I'm working on it now.

I plan to be there and will likely bring 2-3 folks with me. Glad we will have the plate rack and moving targets this year in addition to the Texas Star. :woohoo

I plan to be there with MrsDRW as well as our 4 little ones who are well behaved and won't even be noticed.

drw.
Just a reminder to not forget eye and ear protection for the kiddies.
I handed out lots of foam ear plugs last year but glasses for kids are tougher
to come by.
Well behaved kids will always be noticed and appreciated.

:thumbs2: Every person in our house has their own eye and ear protectors, complete with their name written on it with a sharpee. They will proudly bring them with (and probably wear them the whole drive down).

Shotgun clinic ammo...

#114

Post by NcongruNt »

Just a quick question while I think about it...

What type of shotgun ammo is recommended for the shotgun clinic? I generally shoot #4 Buck in my practice rounds, but if there is a preferred shot that you you would like us to use, I'll go ahead and stock up on that. This brings up my next question... how many rounds are required for the shotgun clinic? I'll be sure to get lots more than the minimum, but would like a general number to start from.

I don't know but I'll find out. There may be an issue with PSC rules related to using shotguns in pistol bays. We have one bay set aside for home defense shotguns, but I'm not sure what shot size limits exist, if any.

You should print and mail it ASAP. Some events are already full. http://www.texasshooting.com/index.php? ... &Itemid=40
