Disney World/Florida

Post by Originalist »

Well the family is planning a trip to Florida to visit Disney World. I know I can carry in Fl but if anyone has any info as to where I can and cant carry, I would greatly appreciate....additionally would the park be off limits under Fl law. Thanks in advance for the info and input

Disney has banned their security officers from having a personal weapon in their car, do you think you can carry in the park?

I'd personally not want to carry on a roller coaster anyway. I have enough trouble keeping my keys in my pockets sometimes. Although a fanny pack would actually blend in there.

I was at Disney in February. There is a pretty extensive bag search for all entrants to the park, no metal detectors though.

Well if there is no law that says they can ban me or a legislative exclusion (like there used to be in Texas). Absolutely I will carry -- I have a 17 month old so I dont think to many roller coasters are in my future anyway.
I apperciate all the input to date. Thanks

I hope they are forced to allow it, it's a stupid rule and should never be enforced anywhere. But if they are allowed to ban concealed weapons they will find a way to, they are one of the biggest attractions and employers in the state and everyone should be able to be safe while there.
