Gee, no mistrial and my guess would be that he won't be getting an Oscar either.

Guess it's just not his day. :cryin

You might have given a warning about the pornographic nature of the advertising on that site and the pages titled "TogetherInPorn" and other lovely names. I didn't really need to see that stuff, and neither does anybody's 10 year old daughter.

Maybe he is using Firefox with AdBlockPlus - no ads show up on that page at all!

No problem. Knowing that you and I worship the same God (even though He is an Aggie at heart) makes it all go away.

I didn't notice anything particularly offensive either on the site either. Firefox with adblock is amazing, It makes for better surfing even if one isn't easily offended. There is a good chance that the original poster saw nothing offensive on the site and that it is unfair to expect that some one should check out sites using virusware like Explorer. If one feels the need to protect themselves and their children there is always Opendns.com , and Firefox with adblock plus. All are free solutions, but take the responcibility of protecting our children away from 3rd party posters and on ourselves.

I've been a Firefox user since it first came out, like a hundred years ago. I was just not aware of the AdBlockPlus plugin for it. I have since installed it. If I was unaware of the plugin, then others are also unaware of it. It is unfair to expect that, because you were aware of AdBlockPlus for Firefox, then everyone else is. It is also an unrealistic to assume that just because someone wasn't aware of AdBlockPlus for Firefox, they are automatically either an IE or Windoze user. I haven't been an Internet Exploder user for many years. In fact, I haven't been a Windoze anything user for many years because Macs totally rock and Windoze doesn't. I do take responsibility for protecting myself and my family from filth, whenever I become aware that a simple technology for doing so exists.

I've also already indicated above that I was OK with the original poster, whom I know to be a good and decent man. If I had been aware that the plugin existed, or that he had it installed, I would have worded my post quite differently. In fact, I probably wouldn't have posted it. You live and you learn.

Anyway, for my money, this thread has gotten way off topic, so I'll just bow out of it.

I am sorry to those who found the items outside the topic video offensive. Had I also made the attempt to view all the crud on that toxic factory page, I'd have a 'hear attack' as well! All the same, the intent was not to infuriate, offend, or warp the minds of those and the impressionable 10 year olds that frequent TexasCHLforum.com
