Who controls this lake?

Post by pedalman »

I was doing some browsing around on the TPWD site, and found this handy link:

http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat/fi ... list.phtml

When you click on the link of a lake, you are taken to an information page about that lake. The most interesting part of this information is that it lists the Reservoir Controlling Authority (local, county, state, or Federal).

This may not be an exhaustive reference, but at least it will give a clue as far as whether CHL is welcome or not.

This was useful for me, CHL or not. Thanks! =-]

Thanks, that's helpful.
We now live less than a mile from Lake Houston. I'm glad to learn I'm legal there.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
