This is a CMP HRA M1 Garand made in 1954 in super nice condition. Nice and tight action to stock fit . All original HRA correct parts. MW 1 TE ? Have not fired it since I got it. The receiver is USGI Greenish hue in color. All parts are GI as well. Ive taken lots of pictures. Basically is a wall hanger, too nice to see.
This is as is from the CMP box. I m selling it for $ 1300 cash to interested buyer . I will meet buyer here in Spring, Tx or Bush International AIrport area. Buyer should be legal Texas resident and has no restrictions to purchase firearms in STate of Texas.

That looks like a very nice rifle - if it were mine, I'd have a hard time parting with it.
Is this the same stock number ("RM1HRACR") as the "correct" grade rifles shown at the CMP website ( http://www.odcmp.com/Services/Rifles/m1garand.htm ) for $975 or is it actually one of the "collector" grade rifles that have formerly been offered from time to time, but are not currently listed?

This is one of those really nice ones long before they have the Collector Grades. The parkerizing is like new and woodstock is nearly perfect.
