WTB: 1911 Kimber/DW/etc.

Post by b4aftr »

I've been lurking for a bit and I am now addicted to this site....as well as 1911s. I have recently been diagnosed with the 1911 bug and it's killing me.

I have been looking for the following pistols:

Almost any Kimber (internal extractors only)
Dan Wesson CBOB 45 or 10mm :coolgleamA:

Well, just about any of them will do. Night sites are a big plus.

I am only looking for full size govt. models as well as commander models. No Officer models please. My hands cannot take it.

My budget is maxed around $700.

Thanks in advance

The Custom II is the Low end of the Kimber line. Bought mine from AJC last year for $682 out the door.
Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.

I consider the "low end" Kimbers to be the Custom II, Pro Cary II, Ultra Carry II and Royal II. All fine handguns that are priced under $1K.

Dang! I just traded a fine SKB 20 ga. O/U for a Kimber Custom II Target. :???: I guess I got rear - OOPS!...I mean low ended?

Oh well, that's not near what Lehman Bros. and the other sodomites :mad5 on Wall Street and in DC have done to me and mine.
