Accidental Discharge

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

Accidental Discharge

Post by longhorn_92 »

I have not figured out how to add just the video (somebody tell me)....

This is about a Dallas Police chase...the Dallas police officer had an accidental discharge of his taser gun and shocked himself during the stop. All caught on video!!! :nono:

funny
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

You use the "youtube" tool button in the post editor, and then put the video's URL between the youtube tags, but you have to remove the "www." from the URL.

Here you go:

Agreed- Sparky, Buzz, Lightning, Flash.... let's hope it doesn't get to the point where he gets a call from that DEA agent expressing support. Hope he's ok.

Notable incidents like this do tend to suggest nicknames that stick with an officer throughout his career. I'd be pretty surprised if the involved officer didn't pick one up from this event, which I'm sure instantly became a part of the lore in his stationhouse. Every rookie will also be treated to a recount of how it happened.

There are some things you just can't live down.
