Rule 0: There are no magic calibers. There are no magic firearms. It is all about the preparedness and skill of the operator.

Re: Tip of the Day
Well, whatever caliber, anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice.Ammo is cheap, your life is expensive.Decide to be aggresive enough, quickly enough.Always cheat. The only unfair fight is the one you lose.Ten years from now nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance,or tactics. They will only remeber the one that lived.

44spec, 44mag, 45acp or 45-70? That's about the only ones I have available starting with 4.

This reminds me of that stupid Comcast commercial in which the Sam Houston statue claims to have caught a musket ball barehanded at the battle of San Jacinta (sic).bdickens wrote:Anyone volunteer to catch one of my 124gr 9mm+P Gold Dots? Didn't think so.

Sorry, the first rule of a gunfight is to avoid a gunfight as much as possible.austin wrote:The first rule of a gunfight is not to get hit.

If you can't avoid the gunfight, make sure you have at least one gun.
